1. Who we are

Routes & Burrows ("we", "us") is a small business based in Ontario, Canada that sells printable organizational materials for school bus drivers — seating charts, route planning pages, logs, substitute packs, and a combined binder package. You can reach us at support@routesandburrows.ca.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you are ordering for a school, district, or transportation organization, you confirm that you are authorized to make the purchase and to accept these terms on that organization's behalf.

3. What you are buying

Every product in this store is a digital download — printable PDF files, and for some tiers editable source files. Nothing is shipped physically. Page counts, contents, and file formats are described on each product page.

Your use of the files is governed by our product license, which forms part of these terms. In short: you may print and use the materials for the drivers covered by the tier you bought; you may not resell, redistribute, or republish them. A copy of the license ships with every download.

4. Prices, taxes, and currency

Prices are shown on each product page and are charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your card is issued in another currency — including US dollars — your bank sets the exchange rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. Neither is controlled by us, and the amount that appears on your statement may differ slightly from the total shown at checkout.

No sales tax is added at checkout. Routes & Burrows is a small supplier that is not currently registered for GST/HST, so the price shown is the price charged — no GST, HST, VAT, or other tax is collected on top. If that changes, tax will be shown separately at checkout before you pay.

You remain responsible for any tax, duty, or self-assessment obligation that applies to you in your own jurisdiction. We may change prices at any time; the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay for that order.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's hosted checkout page and are subject to Stripe's own terms. We never see or store your card details. Your order is accepted only when Stripe confirms the payment as paid; until then no contract of sale exists and no files are released.

Schools and districts can request an invoice by selecting the purchase-order option at checkout and supplying an organization name and PO number. Payment terms for invoiced orders are as stated on the invoice.

6. Delivery and access to your files

Delivery is immediate. Once payment is confirmed you are taken to a confirmation page with your download links, and the same links are emailed to the address you entered at checkout.

Your links are secured by a signed token rather than an account, which means they do not expire — keep the email. If you lose your links, email us with the address you used and we will help you recover them. Please check spam and quarantine folders first; school-district mail filters are the most common reason a confirmation does not arrive.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for being able to receive the files — a modern browser, a PDF reader, and a printer for the printable pages.

7. Refunds

These are digital goods delivered instantly. All sales are final once the files have been downloaded. There are no refunds after download. By completing checkout you agree to immediate delivery and waive any statutory cancellation or cooling-off period to the extent the law allows that waiver.

If you have not downloaded anything yet, email us and we may refund the order at our discretion. We will also make it right if you were charged twice, or if the files are corrupt or materially different from what the product page described — email us and we will fix or refund that order. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived by agreement.

8. Acceptable use

When using this store, you agree not to:

• share, publish, or resell your download links or the files behind them;
• attempt to reach files you have not purchased, or to forge, tamper with, or brute-force a download token;
• probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the store or its infrastructure;
• scrape, copy, or republish store content, or use it to train a machine-learning model;
• use the store for anything unlawful, or in breach of the product license.

We may suspend or revoke download links, and refuse or cancel orders, where we reasonably believe these terms or the license have been breached.

9. Intellectual property

All materials sold through this store, along with the site's text, layout, illustrations, and the Routes & Burrows name and marks, are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. Your purchase grants the license described on the product license page and nothing more; no ownership or intellectual-property rights transfer to you.

11. No warranty

The store and everything sold through it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the store will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, in which case the exclusions above apply only so far as the law permits.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the store or the materials, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or the product license, or from your use of the materials in a way they were not licensed for.

14. Third-party services

The store relies on third parties — Stripe for payments, Postmark for email, and our hosting provider — and may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of third-party services. See our privacy policy for what those providers handle.

15. Changes

We may change the products, prices, or these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and the terms in force when you place an order govern that order. Continuing to use the store after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Ontario, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where the consumer-protection law of your own country or state gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

17. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the product license and privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about the store.
